9th May 2013: Fairtrade Fun Fete was a success!

DSC02395The After School Fairtrade Fun Fete took place in St Peter’s the 9th May and attracted enthusiastic children (and parents) from the area. They enjoyed the bouncy castle and various traditional games.

DSC02380DSC02378DSC02375St Peter’s was buzzing with activity; children throwing hoops, watching puppets, making banana splits, creating friendship bracelets, spotting Fairtrade hidden objects, sewing bananas, drinking refreshments, bouncing and more besides!

Thank you to all the bakers of buns and cakes and to those who are not part of our regular crew who joined in.

Sudbury has been granted Fairtrade status!!

Thanks to all organisations, companies, charities and individuals efforts, Sudbury has been granted Fairtrade status. The group has recently received some significant grants towards maintaining this website. Thanks are due to Suffolk County Councillor, Colin Spence, who has paid to secure our domain for the next three years. Sudbury Town Council has agreed to pay for ongoing website management costs over the coming year. We are also grateful to Babergh District Council for subsidising our training to run this website.’
